Millsite Reservoir Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This secluded 435-acre lake near the mouth of Ferron Canyon is popular for all kinds of water recreation. Millsite State Park amenities include a boat-launching ramp, sandy beach, 20-unit campground, two group-use pavilions, drinking water, modern restrooms, showers, and sanitary disposal station.
Fishing from shore with bait is productive in the spring and fall when the water is colder. The best success in the summer comes from trolling with pop gear and a worm. Fishing in the summer is typically better in the morning and evening when other enthusiasts are not on the water. Key Species: Brown trout, rainbow trout, and splake."
