Bountiful Peak Campground Professional Review and Guide
"A twisting road takes you higher and higher into Farmington Canyon on its way to a campground you’d never know was there unless you had already heard of it. On its way, it moves from dusty and dry surroundings with barely a tree taller than you, to scattered oak in a few clusters, and finally to a patchwork quilt of quaking aspen and evergreens. This is Bountiful Peak Campground.
Designed as one giant loop, Bountiful Peak has 33 individual campsites and 1 group site placed primarily among the aspen trees high in Farmington Canyon. The loop straddles a small hill, with the first dozen or so sites on the upside and the remaining sites down below. Select your site carefully, because they’re not all created equal. Try to avoid sites 6, 8, and 13—there are shadier and more-private sites to be had. Numbers 5, 9, and 12, for example, are probably among the best this campground offers."
