North Creek Lakes Barker Reservoirs

North Creek Lakes (Barker Reservoirs) Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This group of lakes at the head of the North Creek Drainage northwest of Escalante is reached from Forest Road 149, which heads northwest from Highway 12 about 5 miles west of town. You will reach the group of lakes at the ehad of the North Creek Drainage and the campground that serves as the starting point for hikes to the lakes in the drainage northwest of Escalante.

Welcome to Utah, the second-driest state in the nation. Now grab a rod and hit the water, because despite its lack of precipitation, the Beehive State offers an incredible amount of angling opportunity. Fisheries were serendipitously created all over the state as Utahns built reservoirs to store precious water. Excellent flatwater and tailwater fisheries are the result."
