Flat Top Mountain

Flat Top Mountain Professional Review and Guide

"Flat Top Mountain is the highest peak in the Oquirrh Range, and it’s also one of the hardest to get to. One thing that makes this mountain special for skiers and climbers alike is that Flat Top is one of fifty-seven mountains in the continental United States that has 5000 feet of prominence. But this overland and vertical effort is worth breaking a sweat (and possibly a vehicle axle) for, because the spectacular south face that curtains down from the summit into Pole Canyon harbors some of the most life-affirming spring corn snow you can imagine, on
runs that are both long and wide. Again, the effort to get there is great, as a long and rugged 4x4 road and miles of skinning into Pole Canyon are required to pull off the adventure."
