Joint Trail Professional Reviews and Guides

"Perhaps the most famous day hike in the Needles, but one of the most difficult to access. The Joint Trail is an excellent choice for those who want a little adventure (but not danger), as long as somebody has the skill to drive very gnarly roads with a high-clearance, four-wheel-drive vehicle.

In fact, getting to this trailhead is the hardest and most adventurous part of this trip. This route goes through some very interesting terrain, but is not long or strenuous."
