Skutumpah Road

Skutumpah Road Professional Review and Guide

"This trail offers the opportunity to combine a very scenic, easy drive with some short, rewarding hikes into pretty canyon narrows. The graded road first travels along a ridge, giving good views over the Pink Cliffs in Bryce Canyon National Park, and then drops to cross several major creek drainages.

Special Attractions: Historic Averett monument and grave; Canyon narrows of Bull Valley Gorge and Willis Canyons; Views of the Pink Cliffs; Long scenic road within the Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument. This trail is graded dirt but suitable for a normal passenger vehicle. It usually has gentle grades, is fairly wide, and has very shallow water crossings (if any)."
