Fairyland Loop Bryce Canyon National Park

Fairyland Loop (Bryce Canyon National Park) Professional Review and Guide

"A day loop through Fairyland Canyon. An enjoyable day hike, this route loops through the Fairyland amphitheater just north of Bryce Canyon. The trail can be accessed easily from a trailhead at Fairyland Point or from Sunrise Point via a short jaunt north along the Rim Trail. Since the access road to Fairyland Point is located between the park entrance and the Bryce Canyon Visitor
Center, first-time visitors often drive by, missing Fairyland Point and the Fairyland Loop."

We've done several Bryce trails, and this one is as good as it gets. A wonderful trail. Bring a lunch to enjoy at the shaded Tower Bridge side trail which is halfway along the loop. Most Bryce trails require a long climb at the end, but the Fairyland Loop ends gently with a level return along the Rim Trail.

This trail is awesome! It's on the right side on the way into Bryce Canyon Park. You don't have to pay the park fees if you can catch the entrance before going through the gates. The trail is very well maintained. We went when is was rainy. At first, is was really muddy but it dried up after a bit.

The best trail in the whole canyon and you don't have to get into the park to hike it. Trailhead starts at the Fairyland Viewpoint just before the entrance station to the park (saves you $20 entrance fee). It is an 8-mile loop that gets you rigth back where you've started. It is quite easy and spectacular. You hike down the canyon then get back up to the rim. The last 2.5 miles is on the rim, so you can catch some breath.
