Posey Lake Road

Posey Lake Road Professional Review and Guide

"This long, extremely scenic route crosses the Aquarius Plateau from north to south. The Aquarius Plateau is the highest timbered plateau in North America; it contains stands of spruces, pines, and aspens interspersed with large, natural grassy meadows.

Special Attractions: Long and scenic road for easy touring; Fishing and camping opportunities at Posey Lake, Cyclone Lake, and others; Access to a network of 4WD trails. This trail is graded dirt but suitable for a normal passenger vehicle. It usually has gentle grades, is fairly wide, and has very shallow water crossings (if any)."
