San Juan River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The San Juan is a slow-moving river heavy with sediment; it enters Utah in the Four Corners area of the state. It receives little fishing pressure, but some people on float trips fish the river from Bluff to Mexican Hat.

The river eventually dumps into Lake Powell. The upper portion of the river is on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Access to the river is difficult. Key Species: Channel catfish."
