Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway / Sevier River Valley: Beaver to the Sevier Valley Professional Review and Guide

"The Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway is a 17-mile mountain canyon drive between the town of Beaver and Elk Meadows Ski Resort. An unpaved mountain road continues the drive over the Tushar Mountains and down to Junction in the Sevier River Valley. The Sevier Valley is a well-watered corridor filled with diverse historic and geological attractions. This 62-mile drive provides a nice diversity of scenery and roadside attractions, from the beautiful and seldom-visited Tushar Mountains to the gentler landscapes and rustic communities of the Sevier River Valley.

Special attractions: Historic Beaver, high mountain scenery, Fishlake National Forest, Puffer Lake, scenic/historic Sevier River Valley, hiking, fishing, and camping. Nearby attractions: Kimberly/Big John Scenic Backway, Butch Cassidy’s boyhood home, Historic Marysvale, Big Rock Candy Mountain, and Fremont Indian State Park. This eTrail is a complete description of a scenic drive with a route map and information on the best travel seasons, interesting sites, recreation opportunities, camping locations, and much more."
