Tamarack Lake Trail Professional Review and Guide

"If you’re looking for a nice excursion for the entire family, then Tamarack Lake is a good choice. A well-maintained Forest Service trail takes off from the southwest side of Spirit Lake Campground. From here, it is only 1.4 miles south then west on the Middle Fork Trail.

The trail splits about 1.0 mile from the trailhead, but both trails reunite near the east side of Tamarack Lake. The left-hand trail is a little bit longer but passes Jessen Lake; the right-hand trail heads straight to Tamarack Lake."
