"Umatilla, Oregon, is a rural desert community at the southern tip of the I-82 bridge across the Columbia River. This area provides easy access from Oregon to Washington’s Yakima Valley wine country. The historic trail begins and ends at riverside parks. Section 1 of the Umatilla County Lewis and Clark Commemorative Trail is a nonmotorized diverse-use trail. The Commemorative Trail comprises four sections, with equestrian access on Sections 1 and 4."
