Highline Trail

Highline Trail is a hiking trail in Duchesne County and Summit County, Utah. It is within High Uintas Wilderness Area, Ashley National Forest, and Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. It is 65.6 miles long and begins at 10,363 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 132.1 miles with a total elevation gain of 26,763 feet. The Fox Lake (elevation 10,814 feet) and Chepeta Lake (elevation 10,554 feet) reservoirs, the Dead Horse Pass, Anderson Pass, and Porcupine Pass passes, and the Rocky Sea Pass saddle can be seen along the trail. There is also a water along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Packard Lake Trail, Naturalist Basin Trail, Hades-Rocky Sea Pass Trail, East Fork Duchesne River Trail, East Fork Blacks Fork, West Fork Blacks Fork, Yellowstone Trail, Little East Fork of the Blacks Fork, Smith Fork Pass, Rock Creek Trail, Ledge Lake Trail, Head of Rock Creek Trail, Chain Lakes-Atwood and Gunsight.
