This trail appeals to hikers looking for a quiet, peaceful walk with plenty of solitude. Although frequented by local horse owners, trail traffic is very light. Several loops to the water’s edge offer opportunities to explore the wild shoreline.

Walked around the short loop that goes north to the lake and then turns east and meanders alongside the lake before turning south and then back west. Northern parts of trail are narrow and overgrown. Walked this in the afternoon so it was a little warm but would be nicer earlier in the morning.
