Tyler State Park

Tyler State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"At one time or another, most Texans have traveled on Interstate 20 heading for the eastern United States and those family “vacations” to see relatives or find the white sands (and mosquitos) of Florida. On those trips, most travelers have cruised at high speed past the sign for Tyler State Park with only a quick thought as to what that park might hold.

Taking the FM 14 exit and turning north for a mere 2.0 miles, the lucky tent camper will find a real surprise and a 980-acre park developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1935 and 1941."
