I’m sitting here at home writing up the passage for Rocky Hill Ranch and there is a Godzillathon on the tube. All day I have had my fingers stuck to this keyboard while downstairs the monster destroys Tokyo, over and over and over. I don’t know how he does it and he still keeps such a cute figure. This is fitting, actually—the trail described here is sort of the Godzilla of Texas mountain bike rides. And it cuts such a cute figure. This place has held up very well over the years, considering all the traffic it gets.

Rocky Hill Ranch is a pretty cool trail to ride, sure it has alot of rocks but overall I thought it was pretty smooth. I think it might be because I am used to riding trails like Flat Rock Ranch. It is a good 16 mile loop with many places to bail out, and the scenery is beautiful. The trails take you through hundreds of tall pines, which reminds me of Colorado. The first mile or so is pretty tough, going strait up hill, but it smooths out later and becomes a lot of fun. I would also recommend riding Bluff Creek Ranch nearby in Warda.

A++, Rocky Hill Ranch is the perfect day trip for any mountain biking enthusiast! It's fun, fast and challenging and will keep you entertained for hours on end. I would recommend this trail to riders of all abilities as the park encompasses many different types of terrain.
