Crownridge Canyon Natural Area Loop Professional Review and Guide
"Opened in 2006, this city of San Antonio natural area offers an excellent loop hike in a canyon that serves as a recharge zone for the Edwards Aquifer and a home for native flora and fauna."
--Charlie Llewellin and Johnny Molloy, 60 Hikes within 60 Miles: San Antonio & Austin (Menasha Ridge Press).
This all around was a good trail runs along quite a few creek beds down into the deep woods and then up along the colorado river and also has a trail that runs along some bluffs above the river giving way to spectacular views not an extremely challenging hike but a good one to get away from the city and see some beautiful scenery defenitley a must hike if your an enthusiast or just looking to get away from city life
