Caprock Canyons State Park & Trailway Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Caprock Canyons State Park will immediately remind you of northern Arizona or southern Utah.

The high plains of Texas are an unlikely location for this hidden gem of a tent campground. However, a little perseverance and a short two-hour drive from either Lubbock or Amarillo will place you in a geological and historical setting that will immediately remind you of northern Arizona or southern Utah, complete with stunning red-rock formations, bison herds, and tales of Sioux, Crow, and Blackfoot tribes."
