Named after the herds of wild mustangs that roamed this area until the late 1800s, this premier tentcamping area is located on the beach. As you approach the sand dunes, the RV sites are to the left in a parking lot where you cannot see the beach or the ocean, but where you’ll find showers and restrooms. Continuing on, turn right toward Beach Camping and the crashing waves become your constant companion, along with sea gulls overhead. Using the beach as your roadway, look for a prime spot to pitch your tent.
