Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Mountain Bike Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Five minutes from where I live, and then about ten light years to the left of everyday life. This is a delightful place to forget the city grind. You’ll forget you’re still in a tiny corner of the Metromess as soon as you hit the single-track. Nice single-track is all I need to forget how big and nasty it is getting to be around here. That and some good tires. If you’ve got the nerve, feel free to see how well you can follow the trail here as you let the bike find the line. This trail is squeezed into a couple of corners of a well-planned nature preserve. The city of Plano was wise enough to realize how fast the land around here was being gobbled up by developers, and therefore what an asset saving a few acres for nature could be. This trail is very well thought out, squeezing two miles of fine north Texas single-track into only a few acres of land. It’s all about conservation, children—they aren’t making any more land."

This trail is tight with lots of sharp turns. There are countless tree roots to navigate over and several quick elevation changes. Since it was my first real mountain bike trail, I had a blast.
This trail is well maintained and an easy ride with the best wildlife interaction. The wildlife here don't seem to mind that you and your friends just flew by them. The trail is fast and fun. The description says it all. Great for a refresher and a good view of the lake. I take it several times over and over back to back.
