Ray Roberts Lake State Park, Johnson Branch Unit: Johnson Branch Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This flat, paved trail winds through the park, passing through terrain characteristic of the Eastern Cross Timbers region. Start with expansive views of the lake, then trek through the park toward campsites at its northern end."

Easy paved trail, flat elevation, great for kids or beginners. Pretty walk. A great place for Dallasites to get away and spend time with friends/family. The trail leads through the park, which is very nice. Perfect for bringing picnics.
Not much of a hiking trail, as it is all mostly sidewalk. Was also rather crowded as well. The nature trail was a bit interesting for kids, though.
