When you start the Huntsville Hike, go into the woods at the hiker trail sign. Take a left and then a quick right to go toward another hiker trail sign. Pass by a number 35 trail marker on the right, opposite the sign. This is a dirt trail headed away from I-45 and into thick forest vegetation. The trail markers are silver and are located about 6 feet high in the trees along the trail. If during any hike on the Lone Star Trail you have not seen a marker in a few minutes, stop and get your bearings.
