Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Finding the campground: From I-35, take exit 315 to TX 107 and head west about 8 miles to Moody. Continue 6 miles west on TX 107, then take TX 236 for 2 miles to the park.

About the campground: The main activities here are hiking, picnicking, fishing from the riverbank, and wildlife observation. A playground and an outdoor sports area are available. The primitive campsites are located on a prairie near a small pond. The other sites are heavily shaded, featuring large oak, pecan, and elm trees."
