Lake Mineral Wells State Park and Trailway

Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Check out more than 22 miles of mountain biking, hiking, and equestrian trails from Lake Mineral Wells Trailway trailhead.

Located 1 hour west of Fort Worth, the gateway to the wide-open spaces of West Texas, this park has the advantage of being at the northern edge of Texas Hill Country, and most important, of a 670-acre lake. When leaving the park, be sure to turn right to visit the town of Mineral Wells. This community became famous in the late 1800s when the natural mineral springs became a mecca for tourists seeking the medicinal properties of these healing waters."
