Though it’s the toughest Big Bend ride in this book, it’s also one of the most peaceful and beautiful spots in the park. Visitation is lower in this area than it is near the popular places like the Basin and Santa Elena Canyon. You’ll likely see at least a few people down near Rio Grande Village, but that might even be a welcome sight at the end of the ride. You should also take note of the various campsites and the road conditions and distances to them, because you’ll definitely want to return to at least a couple of them to spend a night or two. Tread: Unimproved jeep road.

North to south it isn't technical but you get to see a lot of beautiful desert while decending about 1000 ft.
