The trail opened in 2009 and affords an easy, interesting, and refreshing hike. Several ponds allow easy access to investigate aquatic life. The wetlands habitat, including Little Cypress Creek, is perfect for the 140 species of birds, deer, and other mammals. The preserve is open on weekends.
