Huntsville State Park

Huntsville State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Huntsville State Park is a piece of wilderness hidden from the big city.

As you search the state for that special camping spot, parks located just off the interstate system are generally not your first choice. However, this popular park has a large tent-camping area hidden in the tall pines and overlooking the scenic shores of Lake Raven. Just south of Huntsville and north of outer Houston suburbia, this region of the Pineywoods of East Texas and the Sam Houston National Forest is a close-in park not to be missed."
