Smack-dab in the middle of the third biggest city in the nation is this beautiful park full of really fun singletrack. A jogging path and soccer and baseball fields make this park a prime athlete’s destination, but the bike trails are the main attraction here. Tight, zigzagging, tree-shaded singletrack that winds around on itself for miles means hours of fun just out of sight of the skyline. Do not ride this trail if it’s wet. You will wreck it— and it will wreck you. This trail has been dubbed the Ho Chi Minh Trail, and old Uncle Ho would have felt right at home in the jungle-like environs of this lush urban park. If it’s dry, get set to have yourself a blast. Tread: Mostly singletrack.
