After the pay station, the road narrows and the trees form a canopy down the long hill toward the water. Deep ravines on both sides are filled with flowering redbuds and dogwoods. A right turn on the Crazy Horse Camping Loop begins with site 25 on the right and continues with spacious sites and large, level tent pads. Site 31 has a great view of the inlet area where fishing boats drift with the winds searching for that perfect spot. The entire campground is shaded by huge pines, including site 36, which is a great tent site down a small hill next to a dry creek.
