Bush Mountain Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"This loop trail offers an ideal multi-day adventure in the remote regions of the Guadalupe Mountains—and also the opportunity to see the most famous features of the park, such as Guadalupe Peak and the "best view in Texas" from the summit of Hunter Peak. This trip has an advantage over other multi-day backpacks in the Guadalupe Mountains. It's a loop and doesn't require shuttling a vehicle to the other trailhead or arranging a ride. Three days and two nights (at Bush Mountain and Tejas camps) is just right for this loop. This splits up nicely into a 6-mile segment for each day."
