Justifiably gaining in popularity, this section of the Good Water Loop is one of the best hikes in the area. After tunneling through the cedar breaks that give the park its name, the route opens onto tall bluffs with grand views over Lake Georgetown. The destination is Crockett Falls, where a spring rains down an overhanging rock.

Nice mix of scenery - lake, granite, woods. We happened to see a fox too. I'm not very coordinated, and afraid of heights. This trail provided just the right amount of challenge, without being daunting. It is also not too far from a road in case I fell and twisted my ankle, I wouldn't have to drag myself too far - ha ha.
