A fun hike that twists and turns haphazardly through dense, shaded woodland. Many junctions provide ample opportunities for exploring, and color-coded trails prevent you from getting too lost. You will be pleasantly surprised with a well maintained and clearly labeled trail network. Even better, the trail is quite pretty—offering a few deeply wooded sections that are especially lovely in the springtime, when everything is green. The park was purchased in 1967 by the city of Dallas and is located near Red Bird Airport, north of Duncanville. It’s maintained by DORBA—the Dallas Off Road Bicycle Association—which has built about 6 miles of trails through its woodlands.
