Nice trail. The trail described in this narrative is currently not completely available. There is a new road being built at the halfway point. You can cross the bridge and go the other route. It is just as rewarding.

There is a small creek to cross, a little muddy in some places with a few cows to look at. We spotted vultures and cardinals on the trek. There are no bikes permitted, which made the hike more relaxing (didn't have to worry about getting hit by bikers).
