This former farm offers a flat, meandering trail that travels through pastures and wooded groves, by ponds, and over a bubbling creek via a bridge or jumping from rock to rock. The creek and numerous ponds draw many types of wildlife, from herons and cranes to raccoons and possums, whose tracks are easily visible on the dirt trails after rainfalls. For families, there is a playground and plenty of picnic spots, plus an old barn painted with a Texas flag provides a fun photo op.
