Located in extreme northeast Collin County, this out-and-back hike runs through a 436-acre grassland that includes a 52-acre remnant of Blackland Prairie. It’s best enjoyed in the spring and early summer when it is carpeted with wildflowers, such as wild petunia, Indian Paintbrush, winecup, purple coneflower, and goldenrod.
