Fun, but too short and too civilized. Good views of Lake Texoma throughout.

The trail and campground was a bit too crowded for my taste, but the trails are well maintained and clean. The lake is slowly eroding away the cliffsides, creating sheer drop off points. As a result, you need to watch small children so they don't take a bad fall.

A great 2-3 hour hike that has a lot of fantastic views that overlook Lake Texhoma from high on the bluffs. As trails go, this is a relatively flat hike, so its great for beginners because there are many, different places you can start or end with. But it turns into an intermmediate ride if you want to mountain bike it. The campsites are great too!

Fun! Great day hike that has alot of sights to see. Great for people in North Texas to get ready for a big hike. This is a great trail to bring your kids too. It is a wonderfull place to relax and exesise. Fairly flat and a beautiful lake. Also a great place to bring scouts on a weekend campout. The can are fun to look at also.

This is an easy trail and perfect for the novice hiker who is just getting started. This is the trail I started each of my children hiking when they were five years old. The scenery is beautiful and the terrain changes at various points in the trail. The elevation changes are not too strenuous, but provide a good workout for every member of the family. For families visiting this state park, it can provide the perfect adventure. You can also have a family member pick you up at various road-crossings on this trail to shorten the distance from the out-and-back route if needed.
