Bull Canyon Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"The Bull Canyon Trail is one of the more popular trails in Copper Breaks State Park, both for its accessibility and its charming destination, Bull Canyon. A nice, easy stroll for late afternoon or early morning, the trail is ideal for spotting wildlife such as cardinals, quails, owls, and songbirds, as well as small mammals. The trail follows a wide, grassy swath over a mesquite-covered mesa and deposits hikers along the rim of a small canyon amid juniper breaks. The canyon disrupts the relative monotony of the northwest Texas landscape in a rugged splintering of rock before pouring out onto the rolling plains of the prairie. The trail is typically maintained with a mower, thus providing a clear view of any animals crossing."
