    Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

    "Finding the campground: The park is located 10 miles southwest of Dallas and 3 miles west of Cedar Hill. From US 67, exit at FM 1382 and travel 2.5 miles north to the park entrance on the left. From I-20, exit at FM 1382 and travel 4 miles south to the park entrance on the right. The park is skirted by FM 1382 and Mansfield Road.

    About the campground: Cedar Hill Park features 355 developed, mostly wooded campsites with a shade shelter over some of the picnic tables. Additionally, there are 30 primitive, nonreservable campsites. These sites are not near water, but a composting toilet is in the area; campfires are not permitted."
