Caddo National Grasslands Professional Review and Guide
"In a state as large as texas, the hidden gems are exactly that: hidden. This series of three campgrounds is easily overlooked in the 17,873-acre Caddo National Grasslands. While the massive area north of Bonham is clearly marked on state road maps, its very name implies vast, open savannahs with little shade or protection for the tent camper. However, nothing could be further from the truth in this heavily wooded forest containing enough lakes and creeks for a wilderness experience."
--Wendel Withrow, The Best in Tent Camping: Texas (Menasha Ridge Press).
