Guadalupe River State Park: Loops 2 and 3 Professional Review and Guide
"This is a park for river lovers. The Guadalupe River’s 4 miles of frontage is awesome. The river’s banks are lined with 100–foot-high bald cypress trees and several swirling rapids along steep limestone bluffs. The park is on the Heart of Texas Wildlife Trail–East and is home to several threatened species, including the endangered golden-cheeked warbler. Loop 3 skirts a steep ridge overlooking the Guadalupe River, furnishing a great panorama."
