Blue Creek Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"If you are hiking only one way, the trail is best done by starting at the Basin and arranging for a shuttle or pickup at the Homer Wilson Blue Creek Ranch overlook on the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive. This makes a total hike of 9.5 miles. Many hikers walk this route as one leg of the Outer Mountain Loop, although most of these people will be hiking up the Blue Creek Trail rather than down. The Outer Mountain Loop includes the Laguna Meadow, Blue Creek, Dodson, Juniper Canyon, Boot Canyon, and Pinnacles Trails."
