Upper Gorman Creek Trail Professional Review and Guide
"For a fun ride that’s friendly to all levels of rider in a gorgeous setting, the Upper Gorman Creek Trail is a tough one to beat. The lay of the land allows for plenty of climbing and descending, all of it manageable by beginning riders in respect to both technical demands and changes in elevation.
Two separate paths inside Colorado Bend State Park are accessible by bicycle: the River Trail and the Upper Gorman Creek Trail. The River Trail is short, split by the park road, and, frankly, not a whole lot of fun. The Upper Gorman Creek Trail, on the other hand, is two connected loops totaling around 5 miles with an extra mile or so leaving the second loop and heading straight uphill to the park road, all of which offer thoroughly enjoyable riding.
Tread: Mostly doubletrack."
