Very great trail for beginners who are seeking a bit more of a challenge. There are steep trail area's (especially the stairs) which will surely cause blisters on your feet if you don't wear the right shoes. Canyon Ridge also joins with the other nature trails at the park to make your hike even longer up to 20 miles in length.
This light-moderate difficulty trail in the Nature Center offers excellent wildlife viewing as well as views of Lake Worth. The trail, as one could anticipate is really quite short and constitutes more of a pleasant walk in the Nature Center than a true day hike per se.
- Decent Trail.
- Difficulty = Moderate
- Did not see any wildlife, with the exception of a few birds.
- 6.5 Miles total (there and back) took a little over 2 hours.
- Good views of Lake Worth
