Cullen Park, which was leased to the City of Houston in 1983, encompasses more than 10,500 acres of land just west of Addicks Reservoir. The hike and bike trail and picnic areas are on the north side of Saums Road, whereas the soccer fields and Velodrome are on the south side.

Nice, long trail, especially for being in the middle of an urban area. The eastern mile or so goes through a boggy area. I hiked the trail five days after a rain storm , and there were still spots of standing water across the trail.
