Climber’s Loop at Foster Falls Small Wild Area

Climber’s Loop at Foster Falls Small Wild Area Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The highlight of the Foster Falls Small Wild Area is the beautiful Foster Falls itself. The main overlook has a very accessible elevated walkway and deck overlooking the 60-foot-high waterfalls and plunge basin below. The Climber’s Loop leads you down to the base of the falls, then follows the bluff line before climbing out on top and joining the Fiery Gizzard Trail.

There are many things to see, and many places to explore in the Foster Falls Small Wild Area, which is actually owned by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and is cooperatively managed with the South Cumberland State Park. This area has two different camping areas, the Father Adamz walk-in sites and a more developed campground that is open seasonally."
