Indian Boundary Professional Review and Guide
"The Indian Boundary trail is a simple 3.5-mile loop that twists and turns along the edge of Indian Boundary Lake. This trail is graveled, essentially level, and offers little in the way of technical difficulty. It does, however, offer much in the way of scenic beauty. The lake is ringed by impressive peaks and ridgelines. In the fall, this area explodes with color as the plentiful sugar maples turn gold and red in contrast to the dark greens of the black balsam and pines. There is a swimming beach and bathhouse facility at the trailhead. This ride is located within the Indian Boundary Recreation Area near the campground. Although this ride is adjacent to a recreation area, it feels surprisingly isolated; the Unicoi Mountains provide an impressive setting for this beautiful high mountain lake; the fall leaf season is a great time to do this ride."
