In the spring of 1994 severe flooding ravaged the Citco Creek gorge. Trees were piled on top of bridges, much of the road was turned into a temporary riverbed and landslides left only very narrow passages. It has taken years to repair this damage. This route climbs high into the mountains before returning alongside the now calm Citco Creek. Highlights: Long gradual climbs, steep descents, timber cuts, views.
