Excellent trail once you find the trail head. The park does not have good signs directing you to the trail heads. Make sure you go to the Nature Center for details of the trails. Make sure you are in good shape if you go to the bottom of the falls. The hike back up is a good test for older persons. Marvelous scenery. Look forward to hiking the other trails in the park.

Beautiful trail with some nice overlooks. Cane Creek Falls overlook was great. We also enjoyed the small challenge of the Rocky Point Overlook. It required climbing 15 feet down a steep face to get to the point. My 11 year old son loved that.

If your quest for adventure is not satisfied with the view from the trailhead, then take the trail down to the bottom of Fall Creek Falls and take a shower under the falls. I've done this hike many times over the last 30 years and it's still my all time favorite hike. The trail down to the bottom of the falls is a little steep, but the trail is safe for walking. Take a picnic along to enjoy while getting sprayed by the falls as they crash onto the rocks. The water is cold in the summer and this hike is very refreshing in hot weather. Make sure you enjoy the rest of Fall Creek Falls State Park after your hike.
