Ragland Bottoms Campground

Ragland Bottoms Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Caney Fork River flows west through rugged terrain and is dammed as Center Hill Lake, where jumbled steep hills form the water’s backdrop. This setting makes for some great Volunteer State scenery. And being on a lake as pretty as Center Hill makes Ragland Bottoms Campground an even better place.

Nature trail aside, most recreation revolves around Center Hill Lake. Ragland Bottoms has a day-use area with a boat ramp. It also has a swimming beach, which is popular with campers and day users. The large picnic area and picnic shelter add to the scenery. And that shelter could come in handy on a rainy day. Boaters will have an advantage because they can tour this beautiful lake and choose whether to fish, water-ski, or just enjoy the sights."
