Lebanon certainly deserves a stop if you like antiques. Fifty dealers represented in shops around the old town square have named their hamlet the “Antique City of the South.” Cuz’s Antique Center, the Downtown Antique Mall, and Rainbow Relics are just a few of the shops where all sorts of treasures can be found. The stores are open daily for browsing. And don’t miss the Outlet Village of Lebanon, where shoppers can find Coach, Brooks Brothers, Gap, Jones New York, and Nike stores.
Smithville is convenient to Edgar Evins State Park (home to popular Center Hill Lake) and the scenic Burgess Falls State Natural Area, located between Smithville and Sparta, Tennessee. This eTrail from the DayTrips series describes many fascinating, exciting, (and many free of charge) things to do, most within a two-hour drive of Nashville. Each Day Trip includes destination highlights, places to visit along the way, choice restaurants and lodging, and shopping.
